Biodegradable Pavelith InterLay NP-1 spacing granulate

Pavelith InterLay NP-1 granulate is biodegradable. Pavelith InterLay NP-1 significantly reduces waste generation compared to layer separation with nonwovens, plastic sheeting or nets. The surfaces of concrete block products are protected from scratches using small amounts of material. The good air circulation between block layers reduces proneness to efflorescence.

Application of Pavelith InterLay NP-1

The product is dispersed directly before packaging (horizontal storage) onto the individual layers of block or slabs. Water absorption required for rotting is greatly delayed, but nevertheless provides time-limited durability between the block layers. This, for dry block layers, takes at least 12 months.

Advantages of using dispersible spacing granulate

Pavelith InterLay NP-1 is biodegradable and can be completely degraded by rotting. Waste generation is greatly reduced. The granulate is safe for health and the environment.

The spacing granulate can be swept up and disposed of as domestic waste or compost. Disposal as bio-waste is not possible, due to the rotting time.

For dry block layers, the durability of the granulate is at least 12 months. This time is reduced when the granulate comes into contact with moisture. The rotting process begins as soon as the granulate absorbs water. This takes place over a period of two to five years.

The product is safe for humans and animals. Pavelith InterLay NP-1 poses no risk to health.
