Xella acquires AAC factory in Italy
Since the beginning of October, the manufacturer of building materials Xella has been running an autoclaved aerated concrete factory in Italy itself. The production started on October 2.
At the beginning of August, Xella and the Italian manufacturer of building materials RDB S.p.A. located in Pontenure near Milan announced already their intentions to dissolve their mutual joint venture RDB Hebel S.p.A. and to continue the business activities in two separate companies being independent of each other. After the conclusion of the negotiations with all parties involved, Xella took over the factory in Pontenure and RDB took the factory in Volla near Naples.
