Operating two factories Kograd IGEM is one of the major manufacturers of precast concrete elements and concrete products in the small EU country Slovenia. In a time of economic instability, the management successfully relies on a wide product range as well as additional distribution in the neighboring countries Austria and Hungary.

The main production facility of Kograd IGEM is located on a hill above the small town of Dravograd. Surrounded by green woods and fields, with the blue color of the rivers Meža, Mislinja und Drava prevailing in the valley - it couldn‘t be a more idyllic location than in the Slovenian part of Carinthia. However, the Sales Director, Ms. Biserka Šepec, has primarily eyes for the sales figures. All the more, as the young EU country Slovenia has not yet come to the end of the economic crisis.
