New President for British Precast
Andy Dix, managing director of Charcon Construction Solutions Ltd., has been elected President of the British Precast Concrete Federation, the trade body for concrete products in the UK. He takes over for the period 2012–14 succeeding Steve Par-ker, managing director of Buchan Concrete Solutions.
Mr. Dix started his career in mechanical engineering, joining Marshalls plc in 1982. Having worked in commercial, sales, production and finance roles, he became managing director of Marshalls’ subsidiary companies in 1994.
