Architectural concrete for Cologne’s Rhine Boulevard
In Köln-Deutz, an inner-district of Cologne, the Rhine Boulevard, as it is popularly known, is currently under reconstruction. The project involves a section of the Rhine embankment about 300 m long, between Deutzer Bridge and Hohenzollern Bridge.
In 2011, the Berlin architectural firm Planorama won the competition for refurbishment of the Rhine embankment.
