In 2016, Berlin Central Station was connected to the tramline. The location is characterized by distinctive solitary buildings arranged heterogeneously side by side, various hotel and office buildings as well as the busy road Invalidenstraße, with the tram stop right in the middle of the same. From here, people get by escalators to the two underground stations of the subway and suburban train lines, which again are connected to the central station by a tunnel.
