D’Agostini, a company located in Porto Alegre, Southern Brazil, produces concrete pipes, manholes, pavers and other precast products for rehabilitation and infrastructural projects. Since 2013, a wire cage welding machine supplied by MBK Maschinenbau has been in service.

More than 30 years after its establishment in 1961, MBK Maschinenbau GmbH of Kisslegg, Germany, expanded its business to the Latin American market: in July and November 1993, the first two wire cage welding machines were sold to businesses in the Greater São Paulo area. Since then, MBK has strengthened its presence in Brazil and supplied further units to São Paulo, Salvador da Bahia and Porto Alegre.
