Implications of the ECJ judgement

Pursuant to the European Court of Justice (ECJ) judgment in case C-100/13, additional national requirements for harmonized (CE-marked) construction products are not permissible. The same applies to the Ü mark, which had previously been affixed to prove the usability of such construction products. Thus, for product users, the question arises as to how to ensure that these products are suitable to meet the requirements, and how to furnish the related proof other than by the Ü mark.
