Textile-reinforced concrete is a composite material comprising high-performance, fine-aggregate concrete and technical textiles; it is well-suited to create thin structures with exceedingly high load-bearing capacities. This material is the perfect fit to produce particularly slender structures with concrete covers of only a few millimeters because the corrosion-resistant reinforcement consisting of carbon, AR glass or basalt need not be protected by concrete due to its alkaline properties [1].
