Kranzler appointed new Technical Director
The Bundesverband Leichtbeton (Federal Association of the Lightweight Concrete Industry) welcomes a new addition to its executive level: Effective immediately, Dr.-Ing. Thomas Kranzler will advocate the association’s interests jointly with Managing Director, Dipl.-Ing. Dieter Heller. In his role as Technical Director, Kranzler will represent the lightweight concrete industry on the corresponding bodies, committees, and groups of experts. His responsibilities also include providing technical and engineering consultancy to members, architects, and relevant authorities. Furthermore, Kranzler will initiate and support required research projects.
Previously, he was Head of Standardization and Application Technology at the Federal Association of the Brick and Tile Industry. Since 2012, he has also been working as a lecturer at the Institute of Building Materials Research (ibac) at RWTH Aachen University.
