In due time, the autoclaved aerated concrete industry got prepared for the modifications of the new Construction Products Regulation (CPR / EU No. 305/2011) that came into force on July 01, 2013. The new regulation, which entirely repeals the Construction Products Directive existing since 1989, still pursues the intention of a free transfer of construction products within the European single market.

Performance replaces conformity

The known CE marking of construction products remains unchanged except for the fact that it precisely refers to the declaration of performance to be issued.
