(57) This invention concerns use of additive manufacturing, a.k.a 3D printing, in construction. Specifically, the invention concerns manufacturing of building elements using 3D printing. The invention provides a method for manufacturing concrete elements for construction of buildings, which concrete elements comprise regions of a concrete material and regions of a filler material. The inventive method the method comprises at least the steps of forming a mould by printing 210 mould walls, said mould walls delimiting a plurality of regions in said mould, pouring 220 one of said concrete and filler materials in at least one of said regions in the mould, leaving at least one other region empty, removing 230 at least a part of said mould walls, and pouring 240 the other of said concrete and filler materials in at least one empty region.
