Concrete Society announces October seminar themes
Performance, specification and practice in concrete construction is the theme for the Evolving Concrete 2016 technical seminar and exhibition, organized by The Concrete Society and taking place in Reading, UK, this October.
The one-day Evolving Concrete event, following on from its successful debut in London last year, will be opened by distinguished keynote speakers Stephen Hodder MBE, Immediate Past President of RIBA, and Alan Crossman, current President of the Institution of Structural Engineers.
This full-day conference will be held on 20th October 2016 and draws upon The Society’s position as a centre for independent technical knowledge. The presentations aim to educate, inform and explore the technical issues that are currently challenging the concrete construction industry. The event will be of particular interest to architects, consultant engineers and contractors.
Evolving Concrete will be held at the Royal Berkshire Conference Centre near Junction 11 of the M4, Reading. This venue has excellent travel links, free parking and, as well as a 200-bedroom hotel on-site, there is also a range of hotels within a short radius.
