Holmes Named Executive Director Mid-Atlantic Precast Association
The Precast/Prestressed Concrete Institute (PCI) recently announced that Thomas Holmes has been named as the new Executive Director of Mid-Atlantic Precast Association (MAPA). Holmes is not new to the precast/prestressed concrete industry, having spent more than 30 years in roles from Vice President of Marketing to General Manager with precast concrete producers. His experience spans the technical, business and marketing sides of the industry. In his new role, Holmes will represent the precast/prestressed concrete industry in the Mid-Atlantic states liaising with construction managers, architects, transportation department officials, engineers, general contractors and academia.
Mr. Holmes has a degree in Marketing from Bowling Green University and has received several awards for Distinguished Sales and Marketing. He has also served as a member of the Board of Directors for MAPA and PCI in the past.
PCI has 12 regional affiliate organizations throughout the United States to support its members at the local level. These organizations provide numerous services, such as continuing education, various resources, precast design assistance and university support.
