Nimbus enters into Rampf

The German-Dutch investor Nimbus is majority shareholder of Rampf Formen GmbH with immediate effect. The re-orientation of the group of companies that started successfully will consequently be continued together with the Rampf family. The latter will remain in the company as a shareholder.

Starting with the fiscal year 2011, the Rampf group saw a period with partly substantial changes. At that time, the primary objective was to regain the profitability of the group. This was the basic requirement for successful efforts to find a new shareholder fitting to a family-owned enterprise like Rampf. This has been found now with Nimbus and will strengthen the ability to invest and thus enhancing the power of the company operating worldwide.

As of now, the new German-Dutch investor is pushing the re-orientation of the group of companies that had already been started. To optimize the production processes at the numerous locations of the company that are scattered throughout the world as well as to strengthen the market position fundamentally is a central task in this regard. The concentration on core competences as well as an ongoing improvement of the process and production flows enables a flexible adaption to permanently changing market conditions.

Rampf has an overall workforce of more than 500 people, about half of it working at the German headquarters in Allmendingen. With Nimbus entering the company strategic investments are now possible allowing the company securing its strong position in the world market in the long run and even strengthening the same.
