Spancrete promotes Schnell and Passint

Spancrete, an industry leader in engineered precast and prestressed building solutions and machinery, has promoted John Schnell to Vice President of Precast Operations North, and Nicholas Passint to General Manager of Spancrete Machinery.

Schnell has been with the company for 33 years, and previously served as Vice President of Spancrete Machinery. He is a proven leader who understands the industry, operational efficiencies and managing a team with diverse skillsets. He will be responsible for overseeing all precast operations in the north, encompassing activities at both the company’s Crystal Lake, Ill., and Valders, Wis., plants.

Passint was previously a Product and Business Development Engineer at Spancrete, successfully leading the development of the RePlenish pervious precast system. He has a passion for leading teams to provide the best solutions for customers in the global marketplace. Passint will be responsible for helping to increase machinery sales. He holds a degree in Engineering Mechanics from the University of Wisconsin, and a Masters of Business Administration from the University of Wisconsin-Milwaukee.

Both Schnell and Passint will be based in Wisconsin. Schnell will operate from Spancrete’s precast manufacturing facility in Valders, Wis., and Passint from the company’s machinery headquarters in Waukesha, Wis.
