Airclean paving blocks of F.C. Nüdling awarded

 The manufacturer of concrete products, F.C. Nüdling located in Fulda (Germany), has proven its innovative strength by developing the Airclean paving blocks. For this development, the company has now been awarded in the competition „Germany - Land of Ideas“ (organized in cooperation with Deutsche Bank and under the auspices of the German Federal President).

As „2011 selected place“, the area of the field test used for the Airclean paving blocks shows a way for the purification of air and thus an improvement of our future quality of life. The area was used for a number of comprehensive test series on the effectiveness of the Airclean paving blocks.

Airclean is a special paving system having a photocatalytic effect. It has primarily been developed for use in urban areas with a high traffic density where the most pollutants occur.
