Retaining wall with a claim to aesthetics

Works of civil engineering in general serve a specific purpose to which the planners optimally adjusts it. Aspects of aesthetics are often viewed as a secondary consideration. But that is not always the case, e.g., for the retaining wall of 90m length along the German national highway (B) 10 between Pirmasens and Haseneck. Here, the architectural concrete surface was fashioned with textured formliners from NOE-Schaltechnik, enhancing in this way its visual quality.
