VDI/BV-BS Code of Practice-6205: How does a CE marking get onto a transport anchor?
The CE marking (previously CE mark) signifies „Conformité Européenne“ and indicates that a product bearing this European symbol may be placed on the internal European market.
The CE marking is a symbol of a manufacturer’s declaration of conformity: i.e., a manufacturer or his agent who places a product on the market declares that he has manufactured the product to which the marking is affixed and that it is placed on the market, in conformity with the European Community requirements.
