Group announced new CEO and started manufacturing in UAE
Al Rashed Peikko LLC, a 50-50 joint venture of Peikko Group Oy of Finland and Rashed Al Rashed & Sons Group of Saudi Arabia, was founded in summer 2008 with the objective of production and sales of various products of Peikko Group in the Gulf Area. During the past 1.5 years the company has started its activities and developed a customer base particularly in the pre-cast segment. Meanwhile Topi Paananen who sees big potentials in Arabian markets has been announced as CEO of the Group.
During late fall 2009 Al Rashed Peikko LLC started manufacturing activities in Ras Al Khaimah (RAK), an emirate in the northern part of the United Arab Emirates (UAE). The location was selected due to closeness to subcontractors as well as due to immediate availability of a suitable factory premises. Operations in Al Khobar, Saudi Arabia continue to be developed with regards to warehousing and certain manufacturing functions.
