After the event ...

For the precast concrete industry and its suppliers, two highlights this spring will follow in quick succession: The 60th BetonTage in the German city of Neu-Ulm will have just ended – after the editorial closing date for this issue – but before publication of the next issue. For this reason, we will report in detail in BFT International 04/2016 and 05/2016 on the 60th anniversary of the BetonTage and what happened there: at the most significant event in our industry in Europe. We will also report on those product innovations that the organizers of BetonTage (FBF), as well as the technical journal BFT International will this year have jointly distinguished with the coveted Innovation Prize of the Supplier Industry for Concrete Components. Apart from the winner, we will briefly present you with information on all the other entries.

Of course, after the event comes the next event. And therefore the suppliers will immediately after the year’s first highlight prepare for the next event: Bauma 2016 in Munich – the world’s largest trade show for construction machinery, building-material equipment, construction vehicles, and other construction equipment. At Bauma, around 500 suppliers to the concrete and precast industry will present their products from 11 to 17 April. The organizers of the trade show expect more than 500,000 visitors.

This year, you will find your technical journal BFT International at the Bauma at stand B1.350 – there we will hold the current issue of BFT International ready for you. Come visit us! In addition, a dozen of our staff will visit you, the valued suppliers of our industry, in “flying teams” at your stands to talk about your products and collect information so that we can report later in detail on the products featured at the trade show in BFT International. We are looking forward to valuable and interesting talks with you.
