Construction show moves to Johannesburg Expo Center
Bauma Conexpo Africa will move to new premises: The next edition of the international trade fair for construction machinery, building material machines, mining machines and construction vehicles will take place at the Johannesburg Expo Center (JEC).
Elaine Crewe, CEO of BC Expo South Africa, is aware of the advantages of the new venue: „The Johannesburg Expo Center is one of the largest exhibition centers in Africa. More than 50,000 square meters of fully-equipped indoor space is available here, if required, complemented by about 60,000 square meters of exhibition space in the open air area. Thus, the Bauma Conexpo Africa has the opportunity to grow.“
Owing to its structure, the JEC meets all the requirements concerning logistics and infrastructure of a construction and mining machinery trade fair such as Bauma Conexpo Africa. Moreover, the JEC provides the exhibitors and visitors with sufficient parking space and excellent equipment and facilities.
Premiere attracted 754 exhibitors from 38 countries
Bauma Conexpo Africa, the international trade fair for construction machinery, building materials machines, mining machines and construction vehicles will take place at the Johannesburg Expo Center (JEC) from September 15 to 18, 2015. The premiere of Bauma Africa hold in September 2013 attracted 754 exhibitors from 38 countries and 14,700 visitors coming from more than 100 countries. Covering an exhibition space of 60,000 square meters (gross) – 40,100 square meters (net) – it is the biggest trade event of the sector in Africa.
