Disposition of company assets in the USA

Lafarge announces the sale of its cement, concrete and aggregates assets in Missouri and Oklahoma to Eagle Materials Inc. for $445 million. The assets sold include cement plants in Kansas City (Missouri) and Tulsa (Oklahoma) having a total cement capacity of 1.6 million tons. Lafarge is also selling its assets in ready-mix concrete and aggregates operations in Kansas City.

After completion of this transaction, subject to the approval of regulatory authorities, Lafarge will still hold a leading position in the USA with operations consisting of 9 cement and grinding plants with a total capacity...
