Are precast floor slabs efficient against cast-in-situ floor slabs despite their higher reinforcement level? This article provides an answer to the question.
Precast floor slabs consist of prefabricated floor elements supplemented with statically supporting cast-in-situ concrete. They combine the advantages of cast-in-situ construction with those of precast construction in a structural and efficient way.
