Insulating materials provide heat-insulating and/or soundproofing properties and have a thermal conductivity λ of less than 0.1 W/(m·K). Commercially available thermal insulation materials usually include panels or bulk products that are laid or applied in solid condition. The aerated lightweight mortar Poriment PRO is a cement-bound mineral mortar with heat-insulating properties. It is based on the LithoPore technology developed by Dr. Lucà & Partner Ingenieurkontor GmbH, Berlin.
