Large wind power towers measuring up to far over 100 m in height are of crucial significance for efficient wind exploitation and electric power generation. Towers of these dimensions are virtually impossible to realize efficiently with conventional construction methods. This prompted the building contractor Max Bögl, a leading German precaster, to develop hybrid towers.
