MCT Italy builds green

Recently, the problem of the ecological situation and the protection of the environment has been discussed all over the world. But 39% of global energy-related carbon emissions come from buildings and construction. One of the main factors of environmental pollution is construction. After all, it has a huge impact on the atmosphere, hydrosphere and lithosphere.

Not a single construction site can work without the use of various equipment, machines and mechanisms, but due to their operation, toxic exhaust gases are released, which significantly worsens the condition of the air basin. Such a destructive effect on the atmosphere, of course, is also exerted by other processes that take place on the construction site, such as the spraying of dissolved pollutants, cement etc., the burning of various waste and residues of building materials, unloading waste from floors, without the use of closed trays and other drives, preparation of various insulating materials, etc. In addition, a very active source of air pollution is the process of preparing a concrete.

Concrete is, after water, the most used material on the planet, therefore the most used building material in the world, with a world consumption estimated at between 21 and 31 billion tons.

The circular economy in the construction sector aims to reduce the impact on ecosystems by favoring the increasingly large use of recycled material.

MCT Italy precast batch plants play a significant part in reducing carbon emissions and help to create a green climate-resilient environment for our future.

Here are MCT Italy latest innovations in the building of batching plants and concrete distribution systems:

Tower batch plant with reduced footprint, space saving avoiding neighborhood disruption;

Completely cladded and covered plant for reduced pollution and noise emissions;

Covered plants also reduce energy consumption for material cooling / heating;

Tower batch plant runs with lower power consumption as materials are moved by gravity;

Special dust filters with self-cleaning system to control dust from silo, mixer and internal areas;

Saving on wear and tear components.

Furthermore, a complete automatic concrete transport system with high-speed flying buckets and casting machines, gives the following advantages:

No need to use truck mixers for concrete transport;

Increased concrete quality based on a just-in-time call;

Improvements in the precast yard production safety and the quality of the finished product;

Increase the space available based on truck mixer pathway absence;

Construction time can be reduced up to 50%;

Saving manpower hours by up to 30% and green features to make our buildings more environmentallyfriendly.

The future of construction depends on environmental innovation.
