New Automax Multitest for concrete testing
Controls, the concrete testing division of Controls Group is proud to launch the new Automax Multitest, a versatile and modular Automatic Computerized Control Console for Concrete, Cement and steel re-bar testing that allows modular upgrades from basic failure tests up to advanced displacement controlled tests.
With nearly 20 years since the first Automax for standard compression and flexure tests was launched in 2000, and the later additions of Automax E-Modulus for elastic modulus determination and UTM models for steel tensile tests, the new Automax Multitest represents a major change in versatility offering step-by-step flexibility to upgrade your system to cover all your future testing needs, including the demanding displacement-controlled tests on fiber reinforced concrete (FRC).
Modular and flexible
The system is supplied complete with the Data Manager software package for standard failure tests including compression, flexural and indirect tensile test. As needs develop, additional software modules can be added to test Modulus of Elasticity and Poisson Ratio determinations; tensile test on steel rebars as well as complex displacement-controlled FRC tests.
As the computerized Automax Multitest Console can connect up to four testing frames, from 15kN to 5000kN, your system is also able to test any kind of material and sample dimensions. By adding testing frames, accessories and software packages, your system can cover the main test methods of a construction laboratory from basic failure tests up to advanced displacement-controlled tests, previously only possible with costly research type equipment.
Easy-to-use software
The Automax Multitest Console’s easy-to-follow interface and dedicated software packages with specific test profiles matched to all the main standards, makes it easy to perform advanced tests, following step-by-step instructions with minimal training; improving repeatability, reducing variability and delivering accurate results.
The console consists of an ergonomic cabinet, which houses the hydraulic system, the electronic controller and the all-in-one PC, enabling the user to comfortably control the complete system.
Environmentally friendly and quiet
Adopting the latest ES (Energy Saving) technology, energy-efficiency and precise control during complex tests are achieved with the quiet DC-driven pump and highly accurate drop-by-drop oil flow.
In summary, easy to use, versatile and affordable, the Automax Multitest is highly performing, offers excellent value for money and is the perfect solution for any laboratory needing to perform a full range of tests including quality certification tests.
