New Director of Molds
Brian Budnik has assumed the role of Director of Molds upon the announced retirement of Gary Stevens in June 2015. Budnik has assumed all of Stevens’ responsibilities, including overseeing the Alpena customer service department. He appreciates Stevens’ mentoring and has embraced his new role, “I’m very excited to take over mold sales and customer service from Gary. I’ve had some great business input from him over the years and still have a few more months to tap his knowledge before he retires. As far as the crew in customer service, I could not ask for a better group of people. They all carry the same common base priority, and that is putting Besser customers at the number one spot!” Budnik shared.
He and the rest of the customer service team will continue to rely on the experience and expertise of Dave Miller, Molds Product Specialist, for hands-on management of customer service activities.
Budnik began his career at Besser in 1988, when he was hired to work in the print room on the midnight shift. He’s been an engineering draftsman and worked in customer service handling customer parts orders. In 1992 he took over the capital equipment order entry position where he learned firsthand about mold quoting and ordering. He has traveled to plants with Besser sales representatives through the years.
