The new standard for façades DIN 18516 and the new ZDB Code of Practice

Opportunities for cast stone –

The revision of the standard relating to cladding for external walls has been concluded in the parts DIN 18516-1 (general principles), DIN 18516-3 (natural stone) and DIN 18516-5 (cast stone). In the course of this revision the dependence of DIN 18516-5 on DIN 18516-3 was cancelled and the requirements concerning fastening and anchoring were adopted in DIN 18516-5.
