Practice test

For Zenith this is a real premiere. On the occasion of an open day at the end of October, the company presented its new high-performance Zenith 1.500 pallet machine – we will present details of the machine in BFT International for December of 2014 . The company, until now known for its multi-layer and floor-level block machines, is giving a clear signal for a new beginning, following its takeover by the Chinese machine manufacturer Q&G.

In the production hall of the new company second location in the northern German city of Emden, the company sales staff and engineers proudly explained the technical characteristics of the new machine to numerous interested experts from Germany, Russia, the Benelux States, and England, among others. Apart from the many details, such as the Ultra-Dynamic servo compaction system, as well as the intuitive visual display system for the operating unit, the staff most of all praised the flexibility of the Zenith 1.500. The individual components – e.g., the vibrating table, the motor traverse, and the side sections of the frame – are bolted together. According to Zenith, the machine can be easily adapted to the customer’s individual production conditions and can be integrated into practically any existing rotation system. Since the Emden company is further able to sell its product at a competitive price, the Zenith 1.500 is an interesting offer to potential customers and a challenge to competitors.

The guests listened to the arguments with interest. At lunch, an executive of a concrete plant put into words what probably many were thinking: “Looks interesting, the new machine. Let’s see how it will stand the test of practice.“
