Reportings from the concrete sector
Dear Readers,
What does the BFT International media brand stand for? This question could be simply answered as follows: “For technical information about and from the concrete sector and, of course, for exciting plant reports from the world over.” At first glance, this definition might perhaps suggest that the global corona pandemic inevitably deprives us of our content and, with that, of our basic substance. It is true: right now, no editor is traveling the world, events do not take place and the last time I saw a concrete plant from the inside was in March.
The reason why we can nevertheless still provide you with high-quality and diverse content in every issue of BFT International is the preposition “from” in our definition. Because we not only report about the concrete sector, but also from the midst of the sector. We are in close contact with associations, manufacturers and plant operators, and in this way we continue to receive very interesting and often exclusive contributions that we can share with you, our readers.
For our June issue, for example, we received a highly informative report about sand extraction by semi-stationary sand processing systems (pp. 54-58) – with which we were able to once again breathe new life into our BFT Raw Materials section.
