Safe hospital driveway
The Bergmannsheil hospital in Gelsenkirchen-Buer was extensively modernized. An amount of 11 million euros was spent to modernize the emergency department. Things are easier for the rescue workers: Now, they can directly head for the outpatient department through a driveway.
