Due to the production process, structural components made of spun concrete feature a rotationally symmetric hollow section as well as a very low-porous concrete structure. In combination with using high-performance materials, such as high-strength reinforcement steel and ultra-high performance concrete, it is possible to design bar-shaped structural components, being characterized by resource-conserving material input, optimized dead weight and high durability, among other things.
