Thomas Lange new Managing Director
On 1 April, Thomas Lange took over management of the company Halfen Vertriebsgesellschaft mbH. The trained wholesale and export trader with a team more than 60 strong had already been responsible for all sales and marketing activities throughout Germany since December 2018. “I very much look forward to the new challenges that await me at Halfen,” says Lange with a view to his objective of developing and focusing corporate sales strategies.
In future, an effective team under his leadership will provide consulting and support to architects, specifiers and planners, with stronger focus on project processing and follow-up, and in this way will make optimum use of the existing market potential.
Transition of leadership responsibility
Before changing to the internationally successful manufacturer of fastening technology in Langenfeld, Germany, Lange had assumed a range of tasks and responsibilities at Schöck Bauteile GmbH, most recently with marketing responsibility for Germany and Southeast Europe.
At Halfen, Thomas Lange, in addition to his overall responsibility for the German market, also takes over from Sales Manager of many years standing, Jürgen Kleensang, who this year, after 30 years of work for the company, will end his active professional career. “We thank Jürgen Kleensang for successful collaboration and for providing the right incentives at the right time. We wish him the very best for the next stage of his life,” said Halfen Managing Director Richard Wachter.
