Welcome to the BIBM Congress!
Dear manufacturers and industry partners for precast concrete elements,
after nearly two years, we as organizers of the 23rd International BIBM Congress in Copenhagen welcome you to one of the first live events at which the industry, together with its partners from the supplier industry, can once again meet in person. The Danish capital of Copenhagen is not only a very special place in Scandinavia: today it is also a beacon of building culture using the most diverse materials – but in particular for the creative application of precast concrete elements.
The countries in the north of Europe stand for three lines in the development of building that could also serve as a guide for the future of building in other countries and for manufacturers. A guide for systematic building that, with resource saving, speed of work and with quality of maximum precision can replace manual work at construction sites. This can even now stimulate sustainability by introducing disruptive technologies such as carbon capture, storage and use. This is the only way for achieving a quantum jump in decarbonization of building, and in digitization of construction with BIM and with consistent planning, production and erection of precast concrete elements to shape the future of building.
The BIBM Congress will focus on all of these developments, rounded out by exemplary project examples of good architecture. Our committed trade association for Europa BIBM and Building Congress Forum are looking forward to your participation from 14 to 16 November 2021 in Copenhagen.
