Concrete Batching Plant and Block Making Machine in Benghazi, Libya

A Libyan construction company purchased Elkomix-135 Quick Master Compact Concrete Batching Plant, Elkoblock-25 Plus Concrete Block Machine and Elkon Mix Master-30 PL On-Site Concrete Batching Plant as they decided to enter the concrete block and ready mix business.

Elkomix-135 Quick Master Compact Concrete Batching Plant is equipped with 4500/3000 L twinshaft mixer, 4x20 m³ aggregate storage bins and 2 units 150 tons cement silo. This batching plant can produce up to 120 m³/h concrete and it is for serving their ready-mix business.

Their preference for the block machine was Elkoblock-25 Plus, which can produce 10.000 pcs 20x40x20 cm hollow block in 10 hours shift. The block machine is also equipped with apparatus to produce insulated blocks, the polystyrene foam is stacked manually in the apparatus, then apparatus will operate pneumatically and fit inside the mold.

More than 50 years of extensive experience

Automatic Elkon Cubic Robot (Servo-Drive) were added to the Elkoblock-25 Plus Concrete Block Machine to have less man power requirement s per the customer’s wish. This robot will pack the dry products, stack them onto the europallets and after that they will be delivered to the stock area by means of forklift.

Elkon Mix Master-30 PL On-Site Concrete Batching Plant was supplied to produce required concrete for feeding Elkoblock-25 Plus Concrete Block Machine. The concrete plant is equipped with concrete tranfer conveyor to the concrete hopper of the block machine. The concrete hopper in the block mahcine is equipped with a sensor to measure continuously the amount of concrete inside it, whenever the amount of concrete decrease to a certain value the sensor will give order to the batching plant to mix concrete and send it to the hopper.
