Innovation: Assistance system for concrete compaction

ConcreTec is an assistance system enabling precast plants to compact precast concrete elements in an easy, transparent and reproducible way. The operator is visually guided through the compaction process and gets specific assistance. The system contributes to ensure precast elements in a consistently high quality and to create the work station simpler and more attractive.

The ConcreTec assistance system of Wacker Neuson supports the operator in concrete compaction, gives information on the respective process situation as well as the compaction progress and gives handling recommendations during the process.

ConcreTec is a computer-based IoT system that gathers process data in real time, assesses the compaction progress on the basis of an experts‘ knowledge base and specific process criteria and derives handling recommendations. All relevant information is feedbacked in real time and is clearly displayed on a user interface.
