Peikko Group Corporation has signed a contract with Bila Tserkva Industrial Park to build and establish production and warehouse facilities in Ukraine. The custom-built lease facilities will cover an area of 2,400 m2 in the newly built industrial area.

Peikko, a global supplier of concrete connections and slim floor structures, entered the Ukrainian market in 2023 by opening an engineering and sales office in Kyiv, Ukraine. The new factory and warehouse premises will be located in the city of Bila Tserkva, close to Kyiv. The city has approximately 200,000 inhabitants, and its centric location with close access to the railway, motorway, and seaports allows for an ideal way to serve Peikko’s customers throughout Ukraine. The new premises are estimated to be operational at the beginning of 2025, and new recruitments are planned to start later this year.

Part of Ukraine’s rebuilding efforts

The new factory unit will both support the existing customer base and be part of Ukraine’s rebuilding efforts. At first, the factory will manufacture precast connections that enable a time-saving, safer, and more sustainable construction process. Peikko will also provide customers with DELTABEAM® composite beams and floor joints for industrial buildings.

“As a forerunner in the construction industry, it is our privilege to be present in growing markets. With Peikko’s solutions, we can help rebuild Ukraine with less workforce, in a cost-efficient and time-saving manner. We strongly believe establishing a new factory will help our customers, strengthen our operations, and support humanitarian causes. Furthermore, we are happy and confident in having selected Bila Tserkva as a location, and appreciate the collaboration with Bila Tserkva Industrial Park”, said Topi Paananen, CEO of Peikko Group Corporation.
