Sika’s Managing Director Daniela Schmiedle draws a positive conclusion of BAU 2025

The exhibition of Sika Deutschland CH AG & Co KG at BAU 2025 was themed ONE Sika. From January 13th to 17th, the company showcased innovative and sustainable products and solutions for the construction industry at two very well-attended stands, held numerous discussions with customers, and welcomed many architects during guided tours. Managing Director Daniela Schmiedle draws a consistently positive conclusion.
ONE Sika
ONE Sika signifies, on the one hand, products, systems, and solutions from a single source, catering to all requirements related to the respective construction project – from building sealants to flooring systems and flat roof systems. At BAU, the focus was on bridges, office buildings, data centres, research facilities, modular construction, car parks, manufacturing sites, and residential buildings. The diverse applications also sparked considerable interest among the many architects who visited Sika's main stand during the guided tours. Presentations on the various building types at the Exhibitors Stage and at the DGNB were also part of the accompanying programme.
On the other hand, ONE Sika also stands for brand quality under one roof. Within the Sika brand umbrella, the strong product brands PCI, SCHÖNOX, and THOMSIT come together in the newly established Sika Trade Construction division. This division aims to provide systems and services from a single source, making work as straightforward as possible for professional retailers and the overall industry. The focus at BAU was on the growing segment of refurbishment, renovation, and modernisation. Stand visitors showed great interest in the engaging and practical product demonstrations, entertainingly moderated by presenter and DAZN commentator Daniel Herzog.
The conclusion of Managing Director Daniela Schmiedle is thoroughly positive: “BAU 2025 was particularly special for us this year: here in Munich, under the theme ONE Sika, we presented our innovative and sustainable systems and solutions for various building types and, for the first time, showcased the strong product brands PCI, SCHÖNOX, and THOMSIT together under the Sika brand umbrella. We are thrilled by the countless positive responses we have received from all sides. We were able to hold many fruitful discussions with our customers and partners, establish new contacts, and work even closer as a team.”
