The San Juan Stadium in Argentina

The San Juan stadium in west Argentina, a city with a population of over 100,000, was erected by a construction method that is almost typical. Many precast concrete components were used for the construction of the new arena.

The multi-function facility was built between 2009 and 2011 and is, among other things, the home ground of the CA San Martin de Juan soccer club and offers room for a total of 25,286 spectators. 

The site was found suitable in particular because of the ready availability of the 18 hectares of land that were needed for building the new sports complex, as well as for its strategically favorable location on national expressway 40 S/N.
