More than 27.000 precast units for the Lima Metro

The rapid increase in urban population of Peru has forced the government to increase public investment in transportation infrastructure. For this reason, the expansion of Lima Metro Line 1 has become a strategic project to achieve this goal.

Peru’s urban population continues to grow and as of June 2011 accounted for 74% of the total population, while rural population is 26%, according to the new population projections made by the national census office. Metropolitan Lima is the largest city in the country with a population of 8.5 million people.
