Indian textile business enters the precast sector
For about 50 years, the South Indian textile company The Chennai Silks (TCS) has been producing and selling textiles and clothing. In March 2010, the management decided to enter the precast industry and chose the company name of Teemage Precast In.
The Chennai Silks (TCS) started out in the 1960s. Back then, the company produced textiles at its own weaving factory and sold them in the cities of Tirupur and Madurai. Within a period of 50 years, the family-run business has evolved to become a major international enterprise. 18,000 people are producing textiles and clothing delivered to the extensive network of own outlets in India and to clothing companies worldwide.
