The precast concrete industry met in Neu-Ulm
Top-class transfer of knowledge and intensive discussions - this was provided by the 57th BetonTage congress held from February 5 to 7, 2013 at the Edwin-Scharff-Haus Conference Center in Neu-Ulm. About 1,800 participants from 20 countries accepted the invitation and came to Europe's largest industry gathering of the precast concrete sector. In plenary lectures and product-related panels with renowned speakers they could gather information on current industry specific developments in the field of technology, business economics and legal issues.
The United Kingdom, representing the guest country, allowed the participants to look beyond the German market. Networking with colleagues and market partners as well as the accompanying program were not missed out either.
Innovation Prize structural concrete products awarded
The exhibition held parallel to the congress presented the entire range of products and services of the supplier, machinery and software industry and was fully booked with 160 booths. The latest best product development was awarded with the 2013 Innovation Prize for structural concrete products. This year's winner is H-Bau Technik GmbH located in Klettgau. They were awarded for their new product Rapidobat Cretcon HD, an innovative, active inner lining of column formers achieving fair-faced concrete columns with a concrete surface in premium quality, which was not possible so far.
The prize endowed with a total amount of € 3,000 was presented together with the trade magazine BFT International Betonwerk + Fertigteil-Technik.
