Techrete produce at new facility

State-of-the-art technology meets environmental protection

Techrete has been manufacturing in its new production facility in Balbriggan, Ireland, since the spring of 2008. The high quality architectural precast concrete products are now manufactured in a fast growing industrial area north of Dublin. The company’s management made a conscious decision on a stationary production process, which they concluded is optimal for manufacturing to the customers’ specifications for bespoke cladding.  

The senior management of this company, which by now realizes a turnover of nearly 40m euros, is led by Chris O’Dea and Marcus Sweeney. Techrete, founded in 1985, manufactures its high-quality precast products that have long been a firmly established part of Irish and UK architecture in two locations. The company’s engineering offices are located in Dublin & Leicester. The editorial staff of BFT had already visited Techrete’s second production facility in Brigg in 2005 (see BFT INTERNATIONAL 09/2005).
