In June 2013, Dr. Maike Keller, nee Avermann, was appointed Managing Director of Avermann Maschinenfabrik GmbH & Co. KG. Mrs. Keller, alumna of Twente University in the Netherlands, made herself available for an interview with BFT International.

BFT International: Congratulations on your new role as Managing Director. What are your visions for the future, especially in the field of precast concrete technology?

Dr. Maike Keller: Thank you very much. Before speaking about my vision – I have only one – I would like to mention a fundamental point that forms the basis of everything else.
