Building materials for use in the field of alternative energies
One of the key objectives of the German federal government is to increase the share of renewable energies, which is one of the pillars of the energy transition. The Act on Renewable Energy Sources (Erneuerbare-Energien-Gesetz; EEG) was adopted to promote the expansion of this share. Its aim is to reshape the energy system whilst increasing the share of renewables in electricity generation to 80 % by 2050.
