Concrete as energy storage for solar power plants

The expansion of renewable energies is the declared objective of the German Federal Government and a central pillar of the energy transition. The Renewable Energy Sources Law (EEG) was established in order to support the expansion. The EEG is aiming at the transformation of the energy supply and an increase of the proportion of renewable energy for the electrical power supply to 80 % by 2050.
