Concrete design program –
developed from practice for practice

The Opterra Concrete Design Program has by now come to be used by many companies as a helpful tool in day-to-day concrete production. With the recently published Version 3.2, its developers at Opterra GmbH have not only revised the program, but at the same time adapted it to current standards and regulations. The current Opterra Concrete Design Program, like its widely used predecessor version, is highly practice-oriented and is impressive with its many operator-friendly functions. It enables its users to start a mix design and material archive, calculate and optimize grading curves and create complete mix calculations. The input values can be conveniently adjusted by a sliding control function.

The program design functions satisfy currently valid cement and concrete standards. The program furthermore allows use of variable deductible values of concrete additions that the users can specify. The scope of the current concrete design program includes an eBook for the new edition of the Opterra Concrete Manual. The latest program version runs under the operating systems Windows 7, Windows 8 Classic or Windows 10.

A video tutorial quickly familiarizes first-time users with the program; it explains the various functions concisely and simply. All previous users can update their program version to the current program Version 3.2 via a special interface and integrate previous mix designs from the predecessor Versions 3.0 and 3.1.
