Darmstadt Precast Days 2018
The Darmstadt Precast Days will take place on four days – and for the eleventh time in succession – on 8 and 9 and on 15 and 16 March 2018. Recognized experts will offer sound, practice-oriented specialist knowledge on structural precasting. The hosts of the Darmstadt Precast Days, who extend invitations to this continuing education event, are as follows: Darmstadt Technical University, its Department of Reinforced Concrete Construction, InformationCenterConcrete (IZB), Regional Office West, and the Association of German Precast Construction (FDB). The invitations are addressed to engineers, planners, and students.
Lectures will focus on Building Information Modeling (BIM), on the Planning Atlas for Building Construction, on basic standards and European regulations, and on changes in building codes. In addition, the presentations of the conference will be enriched by building examples already executed.
The Darmstadt Precast Days are officially recognized as a continuing education event by the Chambers of Architects and Engineers in Hesse and North Rhine-Westphalia, as well as by the Rhineland-Palatinate Chamber of Engineers.
At the end of the Precast Days, the FDB will present its award to the best graduate in the special field of precast construction. The FDB honors and rewards with 500 euros the recipient for special achievements ion the course of study.
